Class Sign-Up — Saturday September 12, 2026: Shirt Drafting, Ultimate Travel Bag, or Floral Columns Quilt

Saturday, September 12, 2026 — three classes

Held at the shop: 1099 Schoolhouse Rd Ste D, Haslet TX 76052. Please bring your own sewing machine and basic tools.

9:00–10:30am — Shirt: Pattern Drafting with Joy ($35)

Joy teaches you to draft a shirt pattern from your own measurements, from scratch. Valuable for anyone wanting to learn apparel sewing.

All materials included except fabric — pattern notes, drafting paper, rulers, tape measures, and elastic. Bring your sewing machine, matching thread, and 2 yards of pre-washed fabric. Cotton or linen works well. If you bring something thinner (satin, silk, knit), let us know beforehand so we can direct you to the right thread and needle.

10:30am–12:30pm — Ultimate Travel Bag with Leigha ($25)

The third session in the Ultimate Travel Bag series using the By Annie pattern. You'll need the pattern and supplies. Curated hardware and fabric bundles are available for purchase.

1:00–3:00pm — Kaffe Fassett Floral Columns Quilt Top ($25)

A simple quilt top pattern that works up quickly — you'll leave with a finished or nearly finished top, and you're welcome to stay and finish.

Bring your sewing machine, a rotary cutter, and 8–10 half-yard prints that you think go together. They don't have to be Kaffe Fassett fabric.
