August 22 2026 Class Sign-Up Pattern Drafting and Pickle Dish Foundation Paper Piecing

AUGUST 22 2026 - We will have 2 classes

1st Class -  Pattern Drafting and Pajama Pants Class at 9:00 am - 12:30 with Joy!

For this class Joy will be teaching us how to draft a pajama pants pattern based on our own measurements from scratch! This is a very valuable class for those wanting to learn apparel sewing.

This class includes all the materials you will need EXCEPT the fabric--from pattern notes, drafting paper, rulers, tape measures, and elastic. All you will need to bring is your sewing machine, thread to match the material, and 4 yards of fabric pre-washed ( you'll want to wash and dry the fabric before class). You may purchase fabric at the shop un-washed however we recommend you do so at least a day before the class so that you can pre-wash it. Pre-washing will help the fit and longevity of the garment.

For the fabric we recommend something you will want to sleep in, such as soft flannel, fleece, cotton, linen, etc. If you decide to bring a thinner fabric such as satin, silk, knit etc, please let us know beforehand so that we can direct you to the right thread and needle.

This is a longer class so feel free to bring snacks and a drink. We always have water on site!

2nd Class - Foundation Paper Piecing Block - Kaffe Fassett's Pickle Dish w/ Leigha @ 1pm - 3pm - $25

For our second class Leigha will be teaching about Foundation Paper Piecing using the infamous Kaffe Fassett Pickle Dish pattern block.

Curated Fabric Bundles of Kaffe Fassett fabric will be available as an add-on purchase.
