August 29 2026 Class Sign-Up

AUGUST 29 2026 - We will have 3 classes

1st Class - Pattern Drafting Shirt Class at 9:00 am - 10:30 with Joy!

For this class Joy will be teaching us how to draft a shirt pattern based on our own measurements from scratch! This is a very valuable class for those wanting to learn apparel sewing.

This class includes all the materials you will need EXCEPT the fabric--from pattern notes, drafting paper, rulers, tape measures, and elastic. All you will need to bring is your sewing machine, thread to match the material, and 2 yards of fabric pre-washed ( you'll want to wash and dry the fabric before class). You may purchase fabric at the shop un-washed however we recommend you do so at least a day before the class so that you can pre-wash it. Pre-washing will help the fit and longevity of the garment.

For the fabric we recommend something you will want to wear, such as cotton, linen, etc. If you decide to bring a thinner fabric such as satin, silk, knit etc, please let us know beforehand so that we can direct you to the right thread and needle.

2nd Class - Ultimate Travel Bag w/ Leigha @ 10:30 am - 12:30pm - $25

For our second class Leigha will be teaching how to make the Ultimate Travel Bag using the pattern from By Annie. You will need the pattern and all supplies below for this class. It is a series of 3 classes with take home sewing work before the next class. If you miss a class, you will be able to refer to the pattern to complete your bag.

Curated Hardware and Fabric bundles will be available for purchase.

3rd Class - Jelly Roll Quilt w/ Camille @ 1  pm - 3 pm - $25

You will need to purchase a jelly roll for this class or you will need to cut one yourself. If you decide to cut one, please cut them in 2.5 inch strips at least 40 inches long and at least 40 strips of varying fabric.

This class will repeat on the following Saturday for those that want to continue the quilt top or if you were not able to make this one.

Please bring your sewing machine and fabric scissors.
